    *Nydia King received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy in 1954. From 1955-1980, she was a professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Puerto Rico. This piece about “Glenn Sonnedecker as a Mentor and Friend” originally appeared in Pharmacy in History in 1973 (vol. 15, no. 4). Nydia King died in 2003 at the age of 78.
